I reckon that as a society we get mostly what we deserve. How long do you reckon "western culture" as we know it has left?
townhall.com/columnists/mattbarber/2011/09/03/sexual-anarchy-n1031230
as long as we are not shoulder to shoulder we can all co-exist as a 'multi cultural' society, as soon as we start cramming our selves together in crappy suburban homes we stuff it up
What's that dumbsdale, some kind of sick father's day joke? I think you need to go have a good hard look at yourself sunshine.
Truly sickening stuff mate as a Dad I have a primal urge to protect my children if I was ever confronted with one of these freaks near my kids my flight or fight response would kick in and given the chance I would kill them then be locked up for murder. How would you live with yourself as a Dad if you didnt do it.
These sick creeps have chemical imbalances in their brains that make them think differently to the majority of the population, they are acting on urges they cant control. I dont know what the answer is( mandatory Lobotomy and castration for convicted pedophiles)
Interesting.. but there's a few things going on here.
Most of those excuses he lists are real, pedos use them to rationalise what they are doing. I worked for QLD police and for a corporate investigations company in London who contracted to the Met. I have done plenty of CP investigations. Most Pedos have these types of excuses on their computers in amongst their sick pics and vids.
Either the author or Pedos (or most likely both) are tying pedos to Gays. "If they can have rights, why can't we. They're accepted, we can be too". I think this is pretty harmful/unjust to gays. You're either a pedo or not and the stats are the same for gay or straight. Yet some people still think gays are more likely to go after kids. They aren't. [edit: statistically the most dangerous group for your kids are catholic priests]
Gen Y's and subsequent gens are going to have a very different attitude to sex to anyone previous. They grow up with every type of hardcore porn a click away. It's gonna be no big deal for them. Where we used to talk about 69s (chuckle chuckle) they talk about triple-anal, dirty sanchez, space docking, etc.
Author is not impartial:
Exhibit A: Hardcore religious

There is no better recent illustration of the importance of this issue then the story of "American Worker" J. Matt Barber. His dismissal from the Allstate Insurance Company for his opposition to same-sex marriage and his stand for one-man, one-woman marriage is a true indicator of where America stands in the cultural war today.
Exhibit B: Loony Right winger (Tea Party supporter)

Have a look at the pics down each side of that page, FLOL ![]()
So he has a wheelbarrow to push in this article, linking gays and pedos because it helps his anti-gay stance.
Lastly Dinsdale, what is "western culture as we know it"? I mean your culture is not my culture. Your kids culture is not your culture. Everything changes every day and everyone has a different perspective. Try to define aussie culture and all you get is 'fair dinkum' and meat pies. Pffft.
What a fascinating article. And, I must say, as a trainee catholic priest I found the Author super hunky.
Sorry I missed the whole point. Me thick, please enlighten me.
What does the world of pedophiles - sick as they may be - has to do with western culture and current sexual tendencies ?
If I ask 100 people around me, each and everyone would like to get their hands on those sickos and terminate them. Yes they are a self-serving bunch - we all knew that.
But they do not represent the western culture (anyways I'm sure there are some in other cultures too), nor modern sexual proclivities in our society. They represent at best the history of a certain religious denomination, the one that has a Pope.
So what is the message being presented here ??
OK gotcha. Bah, those supposed scientists are rare, not mainstream by a long shot. I doubt they are 'typical' as you state.
Those sick individuals have always justified it that way, I doubt this is a growing trend. The very, very, very large majority of people I know here in the US would not hesitate to greatly damage those sickos if they got their hands on them, so I doubt it's a growing problem.
However, yes only one is way too many.
The law still puts them in prison here in Australia and that's not gonna change in my lifetime I believe.
My only wish would be that they would be integrated in the general prison population.
We wouldn't have to worry about them much longer, only pay for their funeral.
WTF is 'Space Docking?"
I would advise that ignorance is bliss. Do not google it![]()
I googled it and I found that one "Cleveland Steamer with reverse teabag" thought it would have something to do with kiting! Well it hasn't and yes ignorance is bliss!![]()

Genetic Influence On Behavior

Reviewed by John M. Grohol, Psy.D. on July 21, 2009
Genetic Influence On Behavior The ongoing debate over the behavioral influences of nature vs. nurture has taken another turn.
Researchers at Brown University and the University of Arizona have determined that variations of three different genes in the brain (called single-nucleotide polymorphisms) may help predict a person's tendency to make certain choices.
By testing DNA samples from saliva in conjunction with computerized cognitive tests, researchers found that the certain gene variations could be connected to certain choices — focusing on decisions that previously produced good outcomes, avoiding negative outcomes, or trying unfamiliar things even though an outcome is uncertain.
“In some cases, single genes can have surprisingly strong influences on particular aspects of behavior,” said Michael J. Frank, assistant professor of cognitive and linguistic science, psychology, and psychiatry and human behavior.
Frank worked with Brown graduate student Bradley Doll and collaborated with geneticists Francisco Moreno and Jen Oas-Terpstra of the University of Arizona. Research findings will be published in the August 2009 Nature Neuroscience and will be available online July 20. The paper builds on research Frank conducted while he was at the University of Arizona.

Genetic or not it is easily cured with a bullet between the eyes!
If some sick bastard attacked my grand kids I would take care of him, may go to jail but would be for a good cause![}:)]
