i got some 18" rims 4 my acclaim sedan and have kept the original 16" rims.
the rims are unmarked and in excelent condition and they still have the tyres on them but have about 10% tread?

Not interested in the rims, thanks.

But how's the Commodore drive to suit the Commodore 128 in the background!!!! Do you still have the 128 up and running (I'm guessing you're not on it right now?!?!?).

Bloody hell that brought back memories. I rmember how pumped I was that the olds were getting the C128 rather than the old Commodore 64 - such a supreior machine with those 64 extra kb!!! Plus, you didn't have to load you're games from an audio tape

That's okay - didn't actually want it, just enjoying the memories.

And for the record - they were no gaming machines.. they were cutting edge personal computers without which children of the day would grow up computer-illiterate and would be virtually unemployable (at least that we told the oldies at the time in order to get one)!!

Although I reckon 99% (including ours) were only ever used for games

I've still got a vic20 with 8k expansion cartrige, and if you c64 people want to get online got a viatal modem, that was internet old school. Whats wrong with a tape drive, the anticipation of an hour loading, was intense. Am I old or what?
