Watching this video reminded me of the excerpt below. Pierre Jaquet-Droz was a genius who saw things that nobody else did at the time.

There is a great movie about an automaton called "Hugo" about a boy who lives in a French train station and is trying to repair an automaton that his father built.

Really good movie for the kids and kids at heart.

The writing thing was amazing but what really got me was the eye movements.
