Just wondering what the aviation guys are saying about this one? The video is hard to watch but looks like a steep angle take off...stall followed by nose dive with landing gear still down.
The SMH, Age, ABC, BBC, CNN, Fox, Chicago Tribune, Dominion Post (NZ), Al Jazeera and the Lithgow Mercury have nothing on it. What's your source?
No source just watched the video, that's why I'm asking. No flames from engines and almost a free fall from the sky of such a big machine. Just curious, I probably watch to much aci
Yeah, I saw it. Looked pretty kosher as a real disaster. Almost certain to be caused by lots of cargo breaking loose and shifting back at rotation.
Lost of power.
Are there any birds not ingested yet in Afghanistan left ?
I hope that is not a kite at fault.
Definitely looks like a big stall... probably caused by cargo shift to the rear like others said. Poor buggers... RIP ![]()
Big cargo shift "confirmed" by internet experts. The instant it happened the pilots would have known how it would play out and have a long long time of knowing what was coming with no way to prevent it. Poor beggars. ![]()
I saw this yesterday and the thing that got me the most was that the person filming it didn't say a word.
There was no type of exclamation, be it for joy or shock, at all, this person was just so calm about it.
I know if I saw something like this going down I'd have something to say even if I was by myself.
Strange?
If you told me a thread could move from a plane crash, to robotic Japanese brothel, I'd have not believed you. ![]()
Whole irony is that every donkey or taxi riding across Afghanistan desert is equipped with automatic dashboard camera
but the latest, modern aircraft doesn't have cockpit video recorder.
As usual air crash investigators will relay completely on microphone to guess what happen.
How many lives could be saved if camera were installed on every airplane?
Even by the simple fact that pilots knowing that all is recorded , do not do things that otherwise could do when nobody is watching.
