747 crash in afganistan

Just wondering what the aviation guys are saying about this one? The video is hard to watch but looks like a steep angle take off...stall followed by nose dive with landing gear still down.

Think this is on the money, watch and see it moves left a tad, nose wheel and landing gear not even come close to retract, so something amiss in the cockpit distracting crew, craft starts to stall then slips right trying to get speed and lift with angle of attack change, but too close to ground to gain any lift, poor bastards. Looks like it was quick for them if nothing else.

Are there any birds not ingested yet in Afghanistan left ?
I hope that is not a kite at fault.

Big cargo shift "confirmed" by internet experts. The instant it happened the pilots would have known how it would play out and have a long long time of knowing what was coming with no way to prevent it. Poor beggars.

Whole irony is that every donkey or taxi riding across Afghanistan desert is equipped with automatic dashboard camera
but the latest, modern aircraft doesn't have cockpit video recorder.
As usual air crash investigators will relay completely on microphone to guess what happen.
How many lives could be saved if camera were installed on every airplane?
Even by the simple fact that pilots knowing that all is recorded , do not do things that otherwise could do when nobody is watching.

Regardless of who filmed it, robot or not, you can hear someone in the car moving about, at the end you can hear the interference noise of a mobile phone.

There was sound on and there was someone in the car.

Some people don't talk much, and other like me talk too much. He lets out one expletive later on, but if it was me you would be hearing chatter the whole time.

I'm not a pilot but in sailing terms I would say they luffed the 747.

Unfortunately about 15 seconds I reckon. Apparently they must have tried to turn it up right as in that situation the plane would normally remain upside down (as the wings have no lift). I'm no expert in this though. Poor buggars and their families.

You can never predict how someone will react in a high stress situation. I was present when a bloke died very unexpectedly and was rescucitated in front of a group of close friends. Some stood there and said absolutely nothing for near enough to an hour whilst others were getting in and helping with the CPR and offering words of encouragement. I cant blame the guys that froze, its a traumatic thing to see.The CPR and paramedics got him back but unfortunately he died a few days later.
