I had a week off work over Xmas and my first day back was yesterday (Sunday), I was late getting up because I had apparently slept through my alarm.
Now I had had a few ales on Saturday night but was still amazed that I hadn't heard my alarm.
Seems there was issues with all Iphones in Australia, I realise not many folks would have been working on a Sunday but was wondering did anyone else have this problem (and maybe miss something real important like an early surf session etc).

No your not the only one. I work at the airport and start at 4am. I somehow woke up without my alarm but many of my colleagues with the same start time didn't

I was supposed to be at the Fire house at 6am,but instead woke up at 5.55 and ran from the house cursing apple, my wife who set the alarm. the dog and any one else involved in the plot to make me late for work.
Sheepish apolagies after hearing the news.

Something to do with Apple thinking the world would end in 2010. No need to program for 2011. The disappointed management directed their programmers to push out a patch so your $60 a month alarm clocks should be working again.

Still a better alarm than my pevious windows alarm. I had to do a 6 month course to learn how to operate it. When I finally figured out how to make it work it crapped out. after trying to get thru to support for another 6 mnths I finally got thru and was told it was a hardware issue and to contact hp support. After trying for another year to get thru to hp support I decided it would be quicker and less frustrating to swim to India and talk directly to the support guys who then denied it was a hardware issue and I should contact Microsoft as it was obviously a software issue........comparitivly I find apple quite good myself

Wakey wakey - getwiddet Mark.

You are sooo, like, totally not 'i' at all. Don't know how you can go out in public with anti-social thoughts like that.. and black headbone cords n all?? Where's my latte.

Couldn't agree more to be honest.

The revolution will not be televised.. it will be downloaded as a 'makes life easier' lie.

That's all I want - something I can't break and I can talk into.
Not something that is 90% glass and every time I try to answer it when taking out of my pocket I touch the fkn screen and it rejects or answers the call.
And I have to scroll thru 20 screens of sh!t my computer does for me, just to find something the phone does for me

Oh and while I am at it (as I live in the bush) something with a PLUG in the back for the hi gain aerial on my car - the passive pickups in the new cradles don't give as good a signal and nobody makes a phone anymore with a hard wired connection to the high gain aerial
