You are actually not feeling any of that. It was invented by big Pharma (the latest "them") to sell you drugs.

Always found the once a day ones are best, like Claratyne
Paul - I suffer with HF quite badly also. Get onto a steroid based nasal spray like Beconase (I think it may have recently been renamed - but the chemist will know). It's a once a day spray, so do in the morning after your teeth. You need to use it for 4-5 days before it will start to work and about a week and then you should be right - so continue to use your other pills whilst your immunity builds. I have found that I am no longer having sneezing fits or runny nose. Sure if I am outside mowing the lawn and sweeping for a couple of hours the HF will start to get me, but nowhere near as bad.
I also use Sudafed PE sinus+ allergy and pain relief tabs as a 'turbo' shot for when I really get it...
I have been trying stuff for 30yrs and this is the combo that works best for me - and without any drowsiness. I also use lubricating eye drops to rinse my eyes out...
Note - do not use the decongestant type of nasal spray continuously, they work quickly to open up the nasal passages, but will have a rebound effect.
Wasted fifteen years of my life, popping one Zyrtec a day, for nine months a year, starting every September.
Without the pill, I was stuffed with cold like symptoms, itchy eyes and sneazing.
Tried everything GPA mentioned, for no real effect. Zyrtecs worked for me.
Spring 2012, after having my first three Zyrtecs, I discovered a MIRACLE HAY FEVER CURE.
Stopped eating four Wheatbix for breakfast every morning. Instant result, no more Zyrtecs.
Have since eliminated bread from my diet, having noticed it brought on symptoms.
Raging easterly winds at night this week had next to no effect on me the next day. Previously, they would have crippled me.
Have concluded I am Gluten intolerant, even though I never suffered anything resembling irritable bowell syndrome.
Five years back, was tested for allergins and proven to be allergic to pollen, rye grass, dust mites, Collingwood FC and furry animals. No one picked up on the diet / gluten angle.
Good luck with managing your hay fever. I know the impact on your quality of life and it can be career limiting.
Life is good, now.

Actually, I have also reduced my bread intake - mainly to drop carb intake and try and reduce some weight, and this year I am not suffering HF as much as previous years - so there may be something to this...

Chemtrails ?
Sorry, couldn't help...
Thanks for the info guys, last week was a killer. I now have a sore lower back from all the sneezing
. I dont eat much bread tbh, a pack of flat breads per week but thats it. Might bin them and see if there is any difference, they are boring and lacking in flavour anyways..
Get onto a steroid based nasal spray like Beconase
+1
Had one really bad season and I was using a variety of pills. Then came across the nasal spray, huge improvement.
I also take Phenergan every night, gives me a great night's sleep and keeps a baseline of antihistamine in me so I only need the Beconase on the odd occasion. And FWIW, Phenergan is heaps cheaper than sleep supplements.
