When I worked for Sydney water at Smoko or lunch one bloke in my crew would always fall asleep so we would all quietly pack up and set up a workmen ahead sign in front of him and fark off and wait for him to ring us later when he woke up
My best mate always registers with the Today show money give away where you have to answer with "I wake up with Today"
Yesterday I created a hotmail account with a fake title of todaymorningshowcomp@hotmail and sent him an email to his mobil phone congratulating him that he was in a group of five that were in the running to win $30K.
I said all he had to do was be available to answer the phone in the morning but due to the time difference and it being a live show the phone call would be made between 3 and 5am.
I padded the message out with disclaimers and legal terms to make it legit and the phone had to ring 4 times no more no less
I called him later that night to say gday and he told me the story and it was so hard not to crack up laughing.
This morning I called him up at 4.59am and he answered the phone in 4 rings all excited "I wake up with today!!!!"
APRIL FOOLS!!!!!! HAHAHHAHAHA
He was so dirty, he didnt go out to a party last night and was up since 2:30 waiting by the phone.

There's one in todays WA Sunday Times (page 8) - an IKEA ad about a recall for left handed allen keys
... and a BMW ad where they reckon they are going to reclassify their vehicles from 'car' to 'ultimate driving machine' so nobody has to pay the luxury car tax. Good luck with that one...
