Cant swallow the latest when Ford announce they are forcibly shedding jobs in two plants in Victoria. Sounds a bit suss to me.
Listen up your Ford Bozo Management clowns.!!!!![]()
When I visit a Ford Dealership here in the West on Wednesday last, to order a "new" Ford Ranger, and told "Oh ol chap, we couldn't supply until at least April 2013 at earliest, tsk tsk.
Here is a tip you drongo's, get some of your team to allocate the laid off staff to stock up your plants so Joe Purchaser can order and receive a vehicle when he wants, not when you can sort of get around to making the blasted things, you mung beans. ![]()

Ford sacking hundreds is not important .People out of work and Australia

Whats important is we have declared half the countries coastline a marine park
God bless the greens and labor, long live socialism.
Santa will bless all the unemployed and we will borrow more from the never never.
Who needs jobs, industry, Santa politics will provide, just keep
voting for the greens and labor.
Build the NBN so we can apply for welfare quicker and more efficiently.
On the mark there boofta.
We have the most sustainable fishery in the world and it is being shut down.
So If you want fish for dinner on Fridays you will have to buy Mekong Delta catfish that Coles and Woolies call Basa.
Do not eat that crap.
Re Cars. Daughter just bought a brand new Corolla Sport, discounted $3,000 on Toyota Finance at 1.12% interest rate over 4 years.
Banks in Japan only pay around 0.1% on invested money. A good deal for Australians buying Toyota motor cars.
Re Ford Australia. They stopped making worthwhile vehicles in 1984.
ranger is not made in aus
south america or thailand or taiwan or something, so they are supplying a world market not just here
but they SHOULD be made here, or atleast assembled here
It's a shame Ford stopped producing the Falcon wagon.
It was the substitute panelvan that you could take more than one lady with homerable intentions in ![]()
And it's the only car I could fit my windsurfing kit in
AND before anyone pipes up and posts pics of their formula kit in a Barina, I can fit all my sails, booms, sail box (fin and stuff) all in the boot including camping gear.
The Holden wagon (VE forward) doesn't have the length in the boot to do it.
The only other option is a van and there's no way I'm buying a van.
If you're all willing to work for $2 an hour our
manufacturing and businesses will boom, who
is willing to work for that?.....anyone?....no takers
then can't compete with cheap labour
