I agree with the above. Seems like Australia day has turned into a drunken redneck fest. Kids running around pissed as f¥€k covered in blood wearing the flag as a cape like they are super twat. It's pretty ugly around here on Australia day. Brings back memories of the riots once a year.

well. I had a ball and all the fambilys in the area and kids also did.
I think that mabe you must be going to bad vantage points.
There is a age group between 18-25 that are disruptive and the police have identified the spots made sanctioned drinking areas and fambily areas the police did a good job of monitoring troubled spots.

lets not forget what Australia day means .. tolerance and multiculturalism.

Its a shame not every one can "enjoy it"my closest vantage point is 600km way. I agree with The Doctor.

I spent a lazy Australia Day sailing on a local clay pan with 3 other aussies. We must have sailed almost 1 km

Does "tolerance" mean putting up with the house full of meathead renters down the street yelling, screaming, fighting and playing "screamo" until 3am Thursday morning then collapsing through alcohol/drug overload. Fortunately, these don't represent the larger proportion of "normal" aussies. Though about calling the plod, however thought they would be flat out with the "oxygen wasting" minority who thinks it's their right to run amok, so put in the earplugs and went to sleep so I could get up for work Thursday to earn money, pay tax, support above mentioned "meatheads" who are on welfare and probably always will be.
