^^^^ agreed was better living thru that era,

only more disjointed than the Australia story.

Have a soft spot for Bondy, He's just a product of the time.

Having lived through it, it was great to watch the old footage and re-live the dramas that went with it. It is amazing to see Australia II down at the Maritime museum and to touch and look at this incredible bit of history.

Some footage below of the new-America's cup entry. Love it or hate it, it is fascinating to see how far technology and construction materials have changed in the last 30 years.

Another thing I noticed was how cool was ole Bob Hawke at least he had a bit of charisma a real aussie, compared to today's dead head robotic leaders.
