As far as I'm concerned if you shave, you're trying to look more like a kid or woman.

-The Spartans punished cowards by shaving off a portion of their beards.

Why would you want to look older than you are?

I would like to know why Christians don't emulate their lord by having long, flowing hair and a beard. I think it would be cool if they all did.

Are you talking about faces? or heads, or arses?

For faces it's not really about looks, it's about comfort and hygiene.

Having a pile of wirey pubes on your face is abrasive and uncomfortable. Having a smooth, clean face is very comfortable.

Hair around your mouth and nose catches all the gunk going in and out of the adjacent orifices. It is much easier to clean smooth skin.

Shaving can be a pain if you don't feel like it, but if you do it right it can be one of life's great pleasures.

Hair around you knob can be a bit of a lubricant and shock absorber. A bit of trim is ok.

As for hygiene, as long as you wash before you nibble then everything is fine. It's not as if you are down there dining 3 times a day plus snacks. Are you?

I agree Gorgo. Also, after about 10 days without having a shave it gets too itchy.

I would, but the missus says the chaffing is a bit too much.

or possibly work in a refinery where it is a safety requirement to be clean shaven (so you can get a good seal on a full face gas mask)

I've dated a girl who actually liked the chaffing, she would ask me not to shave for a few days before seeing her... go figure??

Since being unfairly dismissed, I now look like Jesus.

But OK I agree Taliban beards could be uncomfortable, but ~4mm length on the face, and clean on the neck seems the best of both worlds to me, but I'm still not sure if I should go to interviews with a 4mm beard.

Shaving my face has always stings, and that's even without cutting it.

Women seem to like it more, without beard I never get a suggestive look, with maybe twice a week.

Worth reasoning that if you can't have awesome manly facial hair, she should get rid of her pant beard??

My old man had a beard up until I was 15, then he met this woman (hot, well I wanted to get busy with her) and he shaved it off... I lost all respect for him then, I guess my bro did too cos they had a fist fight and he left.

He now has a mo and it looks farking <tarded.
