Was Spearing off Bundaberg about 4 weeks ago and came across one, almost shat myself because it was so far south !

Having grown up in TSV windsurfing if there is enough wind to plane on a shortboard (pre super wide goat boats) then you are usually right for stingers because they swim out away from shore to avoid getting punded/ dumped on beach. Told a young raafie this that I worked with. Course I didn't know the dill was a muppet and wanted to go stand on his new board in 5 knots because it was new. Stung, waambulance etc. how i laughed.
