True,,,he was actually doing some hands on work checking out the health of the local working girls.
How stupid would you have to be booking it up on your given visa card when you are in a high profile postion???

Would kinda be like being a high profile catholic priest booking up $500 a month on boiled lollies and $10 000 on a van with black tinted windows.

He must be,,,your talking about him on seabreeze
You cant open a newspaper or watch tv without seeing it.

If it was you,low profile,, that got busted,,I dont think it would rate a mention on the news or let alone the most trusted high profile forum of Seabreeze.com.au

But only by spending somebody else's money (alledgedly).

According to the polls at one point in time Rudd was Australia's most popular Prime Minister ever, by a large margin. Gillard is currently Australia's least popular Prime Minister ever, by a large margin. 4 years is a long time in politics

This is the most annoying thing about the whole saga. He probably was paid at least three or four times the salary of the people who paid their union dues, somehow it appears that isn't enough to satisfy his desires.

Perhaps if the money was paid back by him, the money spent on his whores and parties, the money spent on his stupid defamation action against a newspaper, the money he misused. Do that and an apology about the lies and then just get on with the job.

Of course that won't happen as they are all lawyers and will deny any liability and lie about it. "Someone forged my name on the credit card. They must have used my phone too". They are all lawyers and as soon as anyone admits liability the rest of them are ontop of them like a ton of brinks.

Usually the simplest answer is the most likely one.

Yes, good one. The joke I got on Friday was;

It's not all bad news for the Australian Labor Party.... At least one of their members can organise a root in a brothel !

Here's 2 bad jokes...
My wife called me upstairs to the bedroom earlier, and said, "look what I've found in the cupboard, crotchless panties", she said seductively as she modelled them. I didn't have the heart to tell my big wife it was one of my singlets...

I couldn't find that freaking thingy that peels the potatoes and carrots, so I asked the kids if they had seen it. Apparently she left me yesterday....

At least the labor guy managed to pull a root. Seems the budgie smuggler offered to sell his arse and got no takers!

www.abc.net.au/news/2011-08-28/abbott-rejects-call-about-selling-arse/2859090

Bwahaa! What a waste of space! Wonder how long it'll take those losers to wake up to themselves and get a proper leader? One with a brain. A personality wouldn't go astray either.

I'm sorry, I shouldn't laugh at the fella. Really in his situation and all, I think it's very brave of Tony to come out of the closet at this time in his life.

Or am I imagining things?

I wouldn't be holding my breath in expectation of a fast resolution to any possible charges that may arise from the misuse of a card. As Peter Wreith has demonstrated these things aren't necessarily the end of a political career. Most politicians seem to be Teflon coated.

Peter Wreith is the guy who just missed becoming President of the Liberal party because of an Abbott back-flip.

Why wouldn't you be smirking if you had a cushy job and your employer gave you a credit card you could pay for having a good time?

You have to wonder about our representatives..... They receive massive entimenents and benefits to 'represent' us but still resort to petty and grand crimes. Its time for a change and by change I don't mean swapping one bunch of duds for another bunch of duds.

While I don't disagree with you on this, the fact nazi in me makes me point out that the allegations relate to when he was a union rep, not a member of parliament. So technically, he wasn't our representative he was a health union rep. Of course, if you're a member of the health union then you're quite right!

Meanwhile the spelling nazi in my firefox browser tells me that it should be spelled Nazi. And Firefox.

I think Lacey is referring to the thieving senator.

Depression made her do it.

Maybe depression made him do it too, he was manic.
