Carbon/carbon kevlar Cloth peth

Hi all, I know there has been a topic on this for other states, and most probably perth too, But i can find it in my searches.

Im looking for the best place to get carbon or carbon kevlar cloth in perth. I just got a cheap board and i wanna just stick a sheet over the entire nose to do two things, Reinforce previose repairs, and smooth things out a bit.

So the cloth would need to be 500x650ish (mm)

Bear in mind that carbon is not as impact resistant as fibreglass. It may be better (and cheaper) to use glass for your nose job, instead.

I hear what your saying with glass being much easier/cheaper to work with, and yes this is true, i have done many nose repairs with this, But in this case, its not a nose repair, ITs a front of board repair/reinforcement.

I am thinking kevlar because the boards const is kevlar, But think it may be a bit heavy so maybe carbon would be better. glass is good, but weight to strength ratio isn't that great in comparison.

i will post some pics once i find my camera and than maybe you guys can offer some more suggestions

If you go to kirkside, don't get the carbon, that's very flat weave, with very wide strands, and coated with some sort of glue, (K12 I think) it's almost impossible to wet out.
Think I'd go glass on that but run it with the weave at 45deg, that way all strands are reinforcing that break.

stronger than carbon at 90deg, across that bogged break/crack anyway.
