played a tennis comp today, was leading 4-3 and 40/love,opponent said he thinks score is 40/15,just agreed as was leading game anyway, ended up losing game to make score 4-4.
4-5 down in 2nd set and 30-30 all hit b/h slice, appeared to hit half on line,he first says not sure, but few minutes later of argument says he saw whole of ball out.
match-point down, hit f/h that felt 100% in, was staggered he called it out.
don't mind losing but not in this fashion.
never said anything till second last point, then had 5 minute argument after match ended, let him know what i really felt!
why is winning so important anyway?

Its not the taking part that matters but the winning![]()
I suppose it's a bit different if you are in a competition but I never say a word when someone cheats at sports.
If I lose then so be it I lost to a cheat, but it's extra satissfying when you do beat the git as you know full well how much they hate to lose ![]()
Either way, shake the mugs hand and tell him well played, it doesn't take long for everyone to realise they're a joke.
Nah - Relly. Time to switch codes.
Challenge him to something else.. like a game of pool.
Even take the break yourself so you know he is getting a fair start.
1st sign he is fiddling, crack him right in the kn mush with the que and tell him "You win!". ![]()
Next time you play him do the same back to him. Every ball that is in but close to the line call it out. He will get so pissed off and it will be great to see his face when you shake his hand at the end.
