Suffered 20 mins off it before ejecting, Absolute crap.

It would be a boring world if we all agreed on everthing

Two years or so ago I took my wife to see Guns'n'Roses with Rosey Tatts and others supporting, she took along ear plugs and a book to read. Durring the night she said something like "the're not all going to do guitar solo's are they?"

About the movie havn't seen it yet but its on my list.

I thought it was pretty good. Nice to see that kind of thing without the American hero theme.

I saw it on box office night, and instantly did my research and found there may (will) be a sequal, but in years to come.

I really liked it.
I'm sure it must be a documentary and every bit of it is true.

This came up in another thread a few weeks back. It's made by the same guy who made Bad Taste (pweeda Jackson, of "Lord of the Rings fame"), and is a very similar flavour to Bad Taste. (You can probably tell just from the name without even seeing the movie.
I think District 9 will probably end up being another cult classic in 10 years time.

I thought it was excellent...... and I think its particular good/funny of you are South African because there are alot of humour/language that you would only get if you came from there. Particulary joburg.

Loved the movie. played around on the website before i saw the movie too.

I love how the movie kind of explored racist type issues allowing me to explore the grey lines between repulsion, tolerance, acceptance and affection.

hahaha sounds a bit deep i know, especially for such an awesomely funny movie. But I loved how i was mostly on the aliens side but could really feel for the dumb human and then whilst thinking that everyone should be more accepting of the aliens I was at the same time totally grossed out when it said about the allegations of interspecies relationship. hahahaha.

For some reason i really like exploring mine and others feeling around such tricky areas. Trying to challenge my views.

Seen it ages ago but loved it. Made me laugh a lot. don't have to be interested in the crap i just went on about to enjoy it. Five stars.

I caught "Bliksem" and "Does" in the dialogue.
I'm not South African but have lived in Joburg.

I liked it. My girlfriend hated it so much that I got a serve for liking it.

Revhead judging by your alias you (like me) seem like an intelligent guy. maybe you would have preferred knowing a little about the movie before going to see it..

I loved it. Found it very sad but amazing in every way. Just like the writer wanted it. It was never written or directed for kids.

You want to see a movie that you will not forgive your self for watching it?

"A serious man"

I thought it's a comedy and I suffered for 2 painful hours of misery
