I havent had a sail in 2 and a half weeks Today was pumping but a friend unexpected came over and he didnt leave untill gone 4 oclock.
Devostated we were watching bathurst but everytime i went out side my head was reading go to the beach i cant stand watching sports or tv!!
I even asked him if he wanted to come down the beach for an hour i offered to lend him my camera to take picture of me ripping and he said it was to cold ;-( I would of been pretty warm in my ebomb surfning gusts of 35 knots) He fliyes in and out and he is a very good friend and i dont get to see him much.
At one stage he reminded me of the anchor of having a misses.
Whats the best way of getting to the beach?

Don't care how good a mate is.

The missus however, now that is who I am scared of

im with you mark but didnt have the heart
i should of been out on a 5.0 4.7 & full sinker. ;-(((( 35 knots only comes around a few times a year
Its like if the wind is over 14 knots you have to turn your phone of and shut your gates.

If its any compensation Buster it wasnt the greatest, too onshore really.
We did a downwinder from Leighton to Trigg such a drama getting out through the shorebreak, waves really dumpy wind up and down and such hard hard work.

You were better off hanging out with your mate.

However i am fascinated by your boat escapades.
That is deserving of a new thread me thinks......whatcha reckon Buster?

lol Yes the boat failures are amusing!!
i think the difference between a 21 foot boatsnapped ball hitch and a surfboard is the damage it leaves in the road and the trail of vegetation destroyed. ;-)
the chain only gives you a few seconds On a truck that size you dont even relized you have lost it!!!!

I always ditch my wife and kids to go for a SUP or a windsurf so ditching non wind junkie mates is not a problem.
But come to think of it... since I started windsurfing my non windsurfing mates ditched me. I only associate with fellow wind and wave pigs like myself now. Makes it easier that way. No unexpected mates calling in, no arvo bbqs, weddings or birthdays.
Life is great
