A 38mm firehose pushing out in excess of 150 psi will get you airborne 
big thumbs up for inventing a control system to tame that flight
but towing that long lenght of hose behing you 
You wouldn't want to get a 150PSI stream landing on your leg though... 
What's the pressure at which water enters skin?
and you wouldn't want to get a kink in that hose and then have it unkink then kink again.. then unkink... then kink...
