I have found a pretty bad crack in my carbon fibre road bike frame this morning - does anyone know of businesses in Sydney that could repair it?

Cheers

Don't pay someone when you can do it yourself. You can make up the perfect mixture easily.

Just fill an empty drink bottle with some smug captured from the cloud surrounding commuters who cycle.

Mix in a little of the oil of entitlement, milked from the sweaty foreheads of motorists trying to slip past a rider wobbling all over the lane without being responsible for vehicular manslaughter.

Add a pinch of bile brought up by the sight of men in lycra.

Stir well and apply as neccessary.

(you did ask for it )

Isn't the carbon tax meant to do something with it?

it's must have happened when I jumped off a curb to miss a set or red lights...

someawe - half the shops around here can't even set gears up properly so I was hopping for a recommendation from someone.

maybe Neil Pryde would lend me one of their roadies!

Grind a bit of the crack out so it is wider
Fill with epoxy and some carbon rovings
Sand back nooiiice and smooth

Put a sticker over it, preferable same brand as the frame
Sell on eBay at 90% of retail cost.

at our local bike shop they strip down the frame and send it off for replacement, get your wallet out.
I really think you could carefully sand back and place a patch over it .
I did a carbon bike seat and the seat pillar for a bloke at it works fine .

Lend it to flysurfer. He can put his bent wheel on it that the postie bent and then sue australia post for a new bike.
When he gets the new bike, he can keep the front wheel and you get your new bike back.
Sounds fair to me.
