Does any one know where to buy one or have one in good condition they want to sell?

I got one (if you're talking about a 'flexible-curve'?) I used it once during my dip. got it from a small local arts supply shop 'Cavaliers art supplies' in Geelong.

[edit] subtle curves are easier with a traditional spline, but not much fun if you bump the weights. The flexible curve is more user friendly and more common. Personally, I prefer stick with my 'spline' tool button on CAD.

I'm doing a marine design / drafting course that requires you do manual drafting so need the traditional spline.

Much more fun to give an apprentice 'what for' with though
