I borrowed that doc few years back, had to turn it off when that that scruffy, thin dog in India got thrown [live] into that compactor.

I had to turn it off too when I first saw it a while back, disturbed me big time. Had to ring the wife and tell her not to watch it. She would have freaked! Next door neighbors are vegetarians and reckon that doco has converted many from a meat eater.

Everytime I make Sri lankan Pumpkin curry I swear Im turning Vego, then I get a whiff of bacon.

As a Speciesist I am more inclined to fight for the underdog and in this case of Speciesism Plants are the underdogs so I respect the plants feelings more than others such as Vegans and Vegetarians and therefore dont like to kill as many plants as animals for my food.
Vegans and Vegetarians are ignorant to the fact that they kill off much native habitat of animals and plants so their precious non native food plants can take over what was once pristine forrest to fill their self righteous bellies. Also many more animals are killed in combine harvesters at harvest time.
Plants suffer deep distress and emotional trauma, so deserve as much support as possible

I got to 2 min when they referred to all creatures "vertebrae or invertebrae".

Invertebrae gets underlined red when I write this. That's because there's no such word. It's "invertebrate" (and "vertebrate" in this case).

Another mistake like this and I'm taking that as my ticket to keep enjoying steak.

I am a proponent of eating meat, I don't condone inhumane treatment of animals. The pig castration was rather sickening, I held my balls as I wept for the piglet.

I got to 1:15 before my girlfriend got home, and this isn't something she could watch so I'll finish it over the weekend.

Was talking to a Vego in the office that watched this, he asked if I'd still eat meat - yes I will. But I also strive to buy my meat from a butcher the sources there produce from ethical (well as ethical as you get when your slaughtering something) farms.

I've always made a concerted effort to buy all my consumer goods from companies that make a concerted effort to be "ethical". Having said that I know I'm not perfect and things I buy may not be produced in the "best" ways and until every company is ethical that will always happen.

If everyone tried to make an effort this world could be a better place, and that might mean going with out some luxuries (why does veal have to taste soo good ) but not everyone wants too.
