You read the wrong advice, and I can give you another wrong one: Try isolating your body instead of earthing it. This way the currents induced into it by your house's mains EMF will not flow out towards earth, thus interfering with the sodium ion equalisation process that is the essence of good sleep. Instead, they will turn into Foucault currents, energising you and making you feel more potent, without upsetting the synaptic potential. Google these concepts if you don't believe me

peter this actually works. the best way to earth your body in the house is to get a metal hung wa ball, attach a wire between it and the metal bed frame and insert it up your bottom at bed time.

Well spotted on the health benefits of earthing the body! In addition to treating the symptons by earthing, it is also very helpful to eliminate the source of these currents. The biggest source is leakage from domestic power outlets - Search on google to check this. The effect of this stray current leakage to your body is increased if you drink fluorodated water, the ions in the water increasing it's conductivity. Drink fluoride free wine to improve your health, and avoid fluorodated water.
And put these plugs into all your power outlets to stop that stray current leakage. It will also help to dramatically reduce your carbon tax bill from July!
