Wow I was there this weekend Sat and sun. Could have easily punctured my tyre. They are probably protecting the great banks that are there at the moment

Maybe the sceptic in me but if you bury some welded object in beach sand even for a couple of hours and then dig it up would the welds still be in pristine condition, would the ground points still be nicely polished, and with no grains of sand embedded in the threaded rod used for the spikes?
The second piece doesn't seem to have any sand on it either.
Or have the "finders" of these objects meticulously cleaned up both pieces and why?

I think that unacceptable The longer the metal deteriorates the more dangerous it becomes. Kinda backs up my story about overcrowding in certain areas.
