I was listening to ABC radio, and was a little aware that some fish,
were having trouble keeping up with demand of the population. I didn't
know much of Menhaden and what value they are to the ecology of the
waterways and oceans. We chomp thru them as Omega 3 supplements
and have servery, nearly eaten them out . You too can find out more at
this site www.discovermagazine.com:443/health/the-most-important-fish-in-the-sea . Our pets, cats
and meat chain are also feed these as supplements ![]()
That article is brilliant! Thanks for the link.
Our future as a species is threatened by our ignorant exploitation of that that exists naturally. It never ceases to amaze me that we choose to ignore the science.
For every action there is a reaction - we are rapidly turning the oceans into a gigantic sewer. It is very short sighted.
Doggie...Woof,...these are fishing stories, I didn't mind flogging the photos,
for those who choose to fish unwisely, but I didn't plagiarize, the authors
comments, about how while fishing, they in a small tinny had a bit of the end
of the world experience. Untill they became brave enough to take the
fishermans fiend on. It were a matter of life or death while out fishing in a
tinny. on an Aussie estuary ![]()
