Freight for Windsurfers

Hi Everyone
I am new to windsurfing/sailboarding and am trying to find a courier or something similar that would pick up a board from an ebay seller and deliver it. Any ideas? My searching has been fruitless due to all the courier companies I have found want the item packed (which most of the ebay sellers are not interested in).

Any ideas or help would be great. I am looking at 2 boards/sails/masts etc, one in Sydney and one in Adelaide.

Thanks for that. The only problem for me is getting setup, I basically just want to buy something that will get me on the water. Most of the sales on here are seperated items and I have no idea exactly what I need!!

Frosty, if you haven't got anyone that you know that already windsurfs, try and get an opinion on what you are trying to buy before you do, if you can. Some of the boards on ebay are ancient and expensive for what you get.

If you got the right advice, you might save yourself some hard work and get relatively good gear.

I am assuming that you don't know what you need. Sometimes the gear on ebay is modern, sometimes it is way too old and difficult to use.

Feel free to ask questions on the forum about what you want to buy, that's one of the reasons its here.

One of the good things about the forum is that most people here would package a board well, so your chance of damage should be less. Even buying stuff here though it is always good to ask advice to see if what you are buying is good for what you want to do.
