Having a major clean out and getting rid of all my old surf magazines.
Do you think they are worth anything?....20 years old
Yep, someone will buy them. Split them up into Magazines, in 12 month bundles, if you have a heap of them. 1st issues of a new mag can be worth a bit.
I'm cleaning out too. 1 side of my garage is a discrace. The other 2 sides are good. I'm resigned to only ever getting 1 car in there.
God it's unbelievably hard to throw out junk. Was ruthless with my clothes, donated them to Op Shop as well as books. I want to get rid of pretty much everything. I have a garage full of surfboards, bikes and stuff I never use (but you never know!)
I've got some old school bikes from the 70's and some single fins. They are in pretty bad shape and just sit there. I think I took the single fin out last year.
DVD's are next.
Yeah junk. Perhaps this is a reason why retail is in the doldrums. Many people are getting over "stuff". I've got a rule at home. We don't buy any consumer durable unless we throw something out of the house.
Been doing this hurl out caper all week , amazing how much crap one can accumulate over time ...... ah well more space for the next lot of accumulation!![]()
Living aboard a boat means that the accumulation of crap has to be self-limiting. And if I want my home to actually move through the water, keeping her a no-crap zone is really important. I love it...for me it's emancipating. In my former life, on land surrounded by crap, I felt overwhelmed by it.
Happy decluttering!!![]()
