I must be chicken or something. Is it just me?

"The day before I shot this video, i was SUP surfing with a couple friends and 2 sharks circled us for about 15 minutes. the next day, i decided to go back out at around the same time and take my GO PRO HD HERO camera (gopro.com) mounted on a 10 ft pole and do some exploring.

Sure enough within 5 minutes a 9 ft shark came out of no where and circled twice and slapped his tail on my board before disappearing. then a minute later a 7 ft young juvenile Great White swam circles around me for 12 minutes. It was an unreal experience that I will cherish forever. chuckpattersonsports.com"

Great vid, but I dont know if in the same position I would CHERISH the moment .
I had a 4mtre white circle me , 3 mtrs away , 3 times , I never fall off my board when paddling ,,,after 10 yrs ya just dont ! , but I did ,,,, it swam around 3 times and I just shat myself , I've had untold reefy's swim under me and things with fins 2ft high at Jakes , Kalbarri swimming close around but they just dont compare to a white with hunger in his eyes lookin at ya !
I tried to run (ha ha ) chest deep but to no avail , turned around , FReakin and caught the next wave in , my cousin was watching from 20ft away and ran to shore , I caught up with him and ran to the beach , leggy still on , must have looked funny for anyone in the carpark , cause it wasnt easy while FReakin.
Somehow it's not a memory i'll cherish though

I am chicken I think, Great Whites are in the big nasty bitey category in my book They looked big enough to bite something important off, like a foot or hand. I suppose on a SUP nothing is dangling in the water though.

Taken from the "Top Joke" thread...

Two great white sharks, swimming in the ocean, spied a ship in distress.

"Follow me, son," the father shark said to the son shark and they swam to the ship. "First we swim around them a few times with just the tip of our fins showing." And they did. "Well done, son! Now we swim around them a few times with all of our fins showing." And they did. "Now we eat everybody." And they did.

When they were both gorged, the son asked, "Dad, why didn't we just eat them all at first? Why did we swim around and around them?" His wise father replied, "Because they taste better without the sh!t inside!"

No. Most of us have at least half a brain.

was lucky enough to do manly aquarium dive a couple of years ago, one grey nurse shark (i know not the most dangerous thing in the water )almost 3m had a girth you couldn't put your arms around and was suprisingly quick puts a different perspective on the size of these things up close nightmare to think something the size of a 22 seat bus with teeth comeing at you .yes i think your mad
