Hey guys what's your favourite and I guess easiest song you like to play? Mine is Paul Kelly "all the dumb things".
Johhny B. Goode is probably my favourite to play.
Easiest...well, could be any of the piss easy riffs out there.
Any song that involves just the repetition of 4 chords which is predominantly the majority of songs in the modern day pop era. Think there is a guy who goes through playing 20 songs using just the same 4 chords in G, C and can't remember the rest. Makes you wonder if creativity in mainstream music is on the decline ![]()
If you know your basics and even if you dont, youtube can teach you most songs.
Not like the old days when i would save up for tab books.
Just learnt Brilliant Disguise and I'm On Fire by The Boss.
Both basic enough, strumming techniques could stump a few.
Wind Cries Mary is easy and lead is easy to learn too.
Favourite riff to play is the break in angel of death - slayer. Probably the first thing I play whenever I pick up a guitar.
If someone wants to learn an easy song I just teach them 'come as you are' - nirvana (or team spirit) or any Ben harper song
I walk the line by Johnny cash

Hendrix embellished this differently every time he played it. Search YouTube for some of his variations, they will walk you through some of them

i found most of the time its the only place in my home where i can play.
btw my favorite is "girl from ipanema" and "how deep is your..." fingerstyle acoustic tunes.
6 string - Blackbird
12 string - John Butler - What you want
Play on the dunny "no" Play in the bathroom "yes". I tried the toilet, was just to small - sounds better in the bathroom (more tiles).
Loving playing with my irig and iPad to learn songs! What's a good tab / chord site besides the major ones?
