Hopefully an interesting announcement in a couple of weeks.

I'm curious how many out there find this search fascinating?
That's amazing! With the size of the universe as it is, they found some right on our door step. As I don't have countless hours in which to research the topic, would you be able to give a brief of what dark matter is actually used for? (Does it go well with vanilla ice-cream?)
Just found some on the underside of my toilet seat
Proof that teenagers DO give a sh1t![]()
Gotta love em and feel sorry for who they end up marrying ![]()
Playing a game with a news tickertape going along the top. One headline was 'Higgs-bosuns particle found behind sofa - owner puzzled'
Another headline was 'France considers banning employment' the next headline flashing across, purely by chance was 'Scotland considers joining France'
When they get it sorted, a really good application would be to make a dark globe, sort of like a light globe only it emits dark instead of light.
That way, when you want to take a nap in the middle of the day, you could just turn on the dark globe and fill the room with darkness.
I can also foresee that the light emitting diode (LED) will also have a dark emitting diode (DED) counterpart to be used in LED tvs to make even better blacks. I think they will be so effective they will actually suck the light out of the room and people will sit around the tv just to see the amazing blackness of the dark scenes.. ![]()
It's not hard .It's the glue that holds the universe together and is the place our energy (spirit, force, ghost) goes when we enter the barrel and surf the last wave.
Dark matter is right here. It's not on the outer reaches of the galaxy or the universe it's here around us and within us.But I digress as paddled over a bull shark yesterday in Tallebudgara creek which was full of dark matter possibly from the sewerage works overflow due to heavy rain. And thus I shat myself.
DM is space.
For every "matter" we can "see" there is a relative amount of DM. Which is in essence invisible (but not immeasurable). Together they make up our total mass. It affects and explains total gravity. I prefer to think of it in it's most simplest form, space.
On an even simpler level, it's the little bubbles of nothing that make us really something.
Einstein was all over it..... he just didn't realise it. See no-ones perfect.. (sorry Bert
).
Dark matter is the missing weight of the universe.Possibly the weight of the multiverse.A whole lot of bubbly foam (infinite universes) and one day this foam will collapse into one and cause a hell of an explosion and billions of years in the future they will call it a Big Bang(again).Dark energy is possibly the force which is causing the universe to expand. Anyway I don't know, I'm a high school dropout but one day without the benefit of high math we or I might see the light which is a bit ironic when we are talking about dark matter. And then there is quantum foam. Personally I prefer polystyrene as it makes my board tougher and lighter and does not absorb water even when it's dinged.I wonder if this is the same with parallel universes. I wonder if An alpha Magnetic da da de da will really provide the answer or just provide more questions. And let's face it, the human mind does not have the capacity to understand it all and that's where we are heading, developing AI to carry the baton. Ah! another drop of red thanks.![]()
Did the Big Bang happen Before Christ or after ? when did the cave men and dinosaurs arrive? And who made the Big Bang was that Jesus or his dad? I'm confused now.
