G'day all. The wife and i planning a trip to Hawaii next July/August and are after some info about good reasonably priced 2/3 or 3 star hotels in and around Waikiki. If any body has been over there and can recommend any we would appreciate it... Kev

www.priceline.com

Just use this website, and read the reviews a couple of weeks before you leave. Choose a hotel with a good rating for the price you are after. It was a fantastic tool for our recent trip to the States. Lots of good deals too.

Personally, I'd stay in Waikiki no more than 5 days - do yourself a favour and go to one of the other islands.

Wife and i stayed last Jan at Outrigger on the Reef. Was sensational dude, higher class but with the strong Aussie dollar and everything else there is a lot cheaper than here (eating out, shopping etc). You'll have a blast, we hired a car for a few days and did the round trip. Hanging to go again.

When you pick your 1st hotel....
Stay for 1 maybe 2 nights and from all the brochures you get there,
pick a package to another island, package's usually included hotel, car and accommodation...it's way cheaper to do it their than here.

Does not matter were you go on the islands you will have a great time
