I just moved to Brisbane and will be moving to Kangaroo Pt.
I am really keen to discover the kite spots. I almost went today but the bus journey looked too hectic...2 hours of transport for 1hour of riding...
So a message to all nice and friendly Brisbane kiters...I would love to get a ride if you guys are keen to go there! I can meet you wherever is the most convenient for you!

Have you tried out sandgate or brighton out yet both reasonaby flatwater spots but can get pretty choppy depending on the tide. They are like 25 min from brisbane
I wanted to get there yesterday but with transport and tight timelines, it would not have been worth it.
It looks like I'll probably have to get a car if I want to go ride on the week ends!
