My heart goes to the victims, if and once Robert Hughes is proven guilty.
Somehow this story touches me as much as the religious equivalent we hear of all the time, perhaps because it was playing on TV and I remember vividly the children in the show now...
What a waste of skin peds can be.
It's alarming that it has gone this long without being brought to light. I assume it has taken a while from when the accusations were raised until a case was built against him.
And although trivial in light of the accusations, I'll never be able to look at that show (which was iconically 'corny' & typical of the 80's Aussie comedy broadcasts) in the same light ever again.
