I'll admit I've fantasized about it, but they cost a lot more over here (so I wouldn't have enough)... and we have a lot more coppers looking to stop people going over running speed.

Plenty of people do the same sort of thing. Usually it means selling up in the big smoke and heading up the coast. Great idea but problems arise when the money runs out. His passion are cars and bikes. Others have passion about farms and the surf.

I work for a wealthy millionaire who pays me to drive her ferrari every friday. I've grown a moustash and got my PI licence, I'm set. Yeah halfs true, the other halfs to much time driving the bloody thing

My cousin and his girlfriend have sold their house, quit their jobs and bought a campervan.
With plenty of money in the bank, surfboards, a decked out van with 2 LCD tvs, shower and toilet.
They leave next month with no time limits and no agenda. The only thing he has left behind in storage is his much loved HQ Monaro.
I wish I was going with him
