Ok, bad subject, especialy on a surf site, i know, but the question has to be asked.
Is it the same Noah?
All this and more will be revealed on The One!
Life Expectancy
Nobody can be certain of the typical lifespan of a Great White Shark. Various scientific evidence suggests around 30 to 40 years, although it is not unreasonable for a large marine animal to live longer.
Could just be Doggie, the one that hangs around the sounds has to be the same bloke. Always 5m always there when snapper are spawning.
Time to tag em all.
Too early to tell but from memory the Cott shark from 11 years ago was 4-4.5 metres, estimates from a pair of shredded speedos is suggesting that the current Cott shark is only 3m.
Dunno how they can even remotely gauge size from a shredded pair of stretchy sluggos but time (and a body) may tell.![]()
If it is the same shark then at least one guy will very much regret that 11yrs ago it wasn't knocked off.
Also from (patchy
) memory, I recall, in the episode 11 yrs ago, that it took days of to-ing and fro-ing but a decision was evetualy handed down to hunt and knock off the Cott shark. All meaningless as the shark was LONG gone by then.
I'll bring a bottle of Glenfiddich AND a carton AND chase felix's cat round the patio AND bring the Italsnag for the Pizza's (if I manage chat up a couple of girliepups on the way I'll bring them too) .... we'll need a chainsaw to cut BRUCE up tho' !
Interesting how the shark left the speedo's must be an acquired taste, now if someone can coax Tony Abbot to venture in water for a swim of the WA coast......sorry I was thinking out loud![]()
QUOTE > Ok next February Ms Felix goes on holiday for 2 weeks we have to book a full weekend of sailing, chasing cats female pups around the patio, BBQ'ing italian snags, eating shark & chips and pizzas! It is a date! > UNQUOTE
