I've had a think about this, and I don't feel I have enough information to anwer the question.

Would someone else, a bit more enlightened than myself, like to come forward, and help Rochelle?

Yeah it has me stumped too.

I am hoping somebody who is "in the know" can answer it for us

It can be a bit seasonal round these parts.Sometimes they're there , other times there's nothing. Get yourself a little tinny. Should be flathead around the mouth of tingalpa creek. Keep on tying different spots and different baits.Whack out a few crab pots. ...good luck.

OK, Rochelle, fair point. I started this, and I am sorry if you were offended.

For your information, Canberra is the capital of Australia. Not a lot of people from overseas seem to know this. It is 15 hours from Brisbane.

Good luck with your fishing.

that's gold - but completely understandable! in the UK the tweed would be it's own state or county or whatever. Why would you think a city over a thousand km's away would still be part of the same state. Just think of the Tweed as part of Queensland - I'm sure they do

Good to see you have been here long enough to know when we convicts are taking the piss too

Can't help on the fishing front - I never catch anything, even when everyone else is knee deep in em. Happy to eat them for you though Good luck!

Oh God .... now every one things they've offended me .... Hey i'm a pretty laid back girl no-ones offended me ...i'm up for a laugh but in the uk if u travel 12 hours you've more or less gone from one side of the country to the other lol. fishings really slow at the minute .... last 10 or so times i've not caught a thing.
