Why not?

Clearly the simplest and most logical explanation is not always the best.

Playing devils advocate here.

If what he said is true, why didn't he cancel his credit card if it was being used by someone else to pay for prostitutes and then contact the bank to get the payments cancelled as the card was being used by someone who was not the card holder?

Perhaps he was too busy sorting out the disfunctional union? The job he did was certainly first rate.

I'm going windsurfing in the electorate he represents tomorrow. If I bump into him I'll give him some advice on credit card fraud.

Certainly making statements from the book of "Bart Simpson Sayings To Avoid Responsibility".

When will hear about the alien abduction?

It seems to me that his credit card was used ,his drivers license recorded, his phone number recorded and then he used the same phone number after the brothel transaction.

I know alot of people are so keen that this story is correct and it will mean the end of this government but. Lets just wait

The obvious question should be, Since the 'person' had openly stated he was trying to do him down by illegally using his credit card and phone and whatever, Why has it taken 4 years and a lot of grief for him to finally dob him in??
FOUR YEARS and all this flak and only now he thinks to bring the matter up up??
I don't think so.!
I appreciate the need for 'innocent until proven guilty' but at the very least he's guilty of taking us all for idiots.
Although he seems to be correct in the case of PM Julia because she plainly stated a number of times that he has her full support.
I suppose that could be one of her good points. Always thinks the best of everyone.
Although she didn't seem to extend the same facility to Kevin.

Geez! I wonder what Kev used his gov. credit card for to cause that.?
