all i can say is thank christ you gys won the game for the sake of the franchise.
Bit early for crowing, all it took to win was half the QLD team down for the count and one man less on the field for 1/8th of the game, and the home side advantage.

Yep, I was actually glad to see NSW win this one...
cause it sets up a victory all the more sweet when the maroons take the trophy at the end of next game.
NSW did however play a very strong game and as in the first round, came out with some excellent aggression. Good to see they still have the hunger!
What about home side advantage? Well I suppose given the choice Melburnians prefer QLD'ers, it's only natural. After all half of them are future QLDers anyway.
Anyway I think the true winner is advertising. Disgusting how they keep adding more and more every year. That stupid blond sports bet chick makes me so angry. Then I noticed how 1/4 of the big boards at the game is now a constant ad. The moving led ads along the edges of the field are distracting enough.
