What about that song about the young fellow getting a gun and shooting everyone? The tune is upbeat while the lyrics are quite disturbing.

Pumped up kicks yeah it will be up there i have a feeling foster the people will get 3 in there im hoping anyway. I cant wait beers down the beach listen to hottest 100 just awesome.

Foster the people "pumped up kicks" was 2011. i reckon Owl Eyes like a version will be top 3. Goyte No.1. Though i did like the Red Coats DreamShaker.
Noah and the whale could be up in the top 5 as well as the Beastie Boys.

What about "Feeding Line" by Boy & Bear (or was this in last year's?) for #1
I also like that Clavin Harris song "Feel so close" but don't think it'd get in the top 10. Anyhow what the f#$k would I know - I'm 42 y.o.

I'm + a few on you Firie & have been listening since first broadcast as 2JJ, 37 years ago, January 1975. (Skyhooks - I just like you cos you're good in bed, first song)

Still good music "I can never remember artist/song names"..... me too.
And lotsa good Aussie music.

Prob Goyte, Matt Corby is up there (best orig & like a version last Friday) & Boy & Bear will also feature. All the "Unearthed" bands deserve an entry - should be automatic.

If Brother was released a couple of weeks earlier or the voting was still open it would be an absolute shoe-in for number 1. I reckon it'll still crack the top 10 but I'm sure a ****load more people would have it in their list if they were voting today.
