Another new craze that is neither new or a craze...

Is it possible to Street Sup with a Kitewing?

I guess it would be Elroy 99% of my kitewing time is on a mountain board. the other 1% is getting bitten by crabs in the estruary lol

Ive seen Wingnutter kite and windsurf and it definately looks like it has helped with some of the crazy things he can do with that kitewing. He rips on land and on the water. Cut him some slack. He obviously just wants to share his stoke and get others into trying something different. Good on ya Wingnutter
But if you ask me I reckon its gayer than kiting and thats pretty gay

You are so lucky. Everytime you post in seabreeze, all of your fellow kitewingers are also there.
The fact it is only one person shouldn't bother you. It can only get more popular

Thats it FM
I might be the only person on here that admits they do it but I bet theres some lurkers out there who kitewing too.
I know theres a few wingers up in Geraldton and a fair few around Perth and mandurah I think most people are using it on the land tho.
The fact is seabreeze has never really catered for a forum for kitewingers even asking laurie several times comeon mate.
Everyone sign here_____________haha
I never knew where to post such a topic (thought the land sailing group would suit cause I use it on land and sail but its not really the same thing and I thought maybe the kitesurfing or windsurfing forum would suit better but nah too many haters) :) The only place really is the general forum.
I was originally drawn to seabreeze because I surf and fish and study the graphs everyday for the right weather so I didnt purposely come here to start a kitewing forum.

hahah only you could get away with saying that baaahahaha

but seriously all I have ever wanted to see/do is catch a huge damn massive wave and do a sick floater off the top like they do down that snow hill
that is the dream that started me off kitewinging
no jetskis needed
(imagine the picture of a cartoon sized dude gliding down the shoulder of a gigantic high rise sized foam ball)
now thats the stuff dreams are made of and makes me smile
laird hamilton is my water sports idol and tow surfing (kite or windsurf) is my end goal. To ride the biggest wave in my life if I ever get fit enough to reach that peak. I would like to be able to enter such a wave wind assisted over a noisey smelly jetski anyday.

I thought the windsurfing kind was open minded!

that was when it had dropped to only 45 participants

windsurfing popularity is almost back up to kitesurfing status, which now gives windsurfers a right to be a$$holes too

Has any kitewing lurkers read this post yet? Is there anybody out there

Did anyone get out in the wind this arvo?? Or was I the only one :)
Was a fairly strong easterly.
I took my 5.5m kitewing and my ground industries mountain board out to mates farm. Had a phat time. Flogged around the paddocks dodging cow packs and found this sweet lil bump around a dam so I started wacking cutties off the top and managed a few lil floaties back down. Didn't see a wire fence when I was hooked in till the last minute and shat myself but all good pulled up in time lol
Stoked

Hamburglar,

Are you with us or against us.

Are you a kitewinglar or a wanker. you decide.

We need 4 people in the sport in Australia to call it a craze like planking, so get on board.

So far this sport is more popular that Julia Gillard. So get into it guys.

Um where would I buy a kitewang?

What's with people bullying other people on here? If someone enjoys something, you'll always find someone who tries to shoot them down. It's like "if u don't enjoy exactly the same thing as me? Then your gay". Some people need to take a good hard look at them selves. Oh and maybe lay off the cones. It makes you overly paranoid dude. Kitewings aren't a conspiricy, just a bit of fun. :)

I asked for an Ocean Paddling forum to capture the Outriggers, Surf Ski paddlers and SUP guys paddling in the ocean. They all use this site for Wind info, why not stop and post while they are here?

I thought it made sense as you could then sell advertising space to additional brands on the graphs pages or in that particular forum.

There was no response on that one.

no no, your right it's just i find the title kitewing missleading .I thought it would of been a piece of cloth with strings attached. maybe renaming it would give you a more positive response you require..........

something along the lines of Hand Held Horizontal Windsurf Sail for the developmentally delayed / same sex couple Wing or similar, that way there could be no confusion as to what to expect when viewing.Hope this has been some help.

Sorry we missed out on that one. If you look back through all the other requests for a new forum there should be the answer in some of them. Here it is again:

More forums mean more work for admin. More work means less play.
