Anyone have any recommendations on waist harnesses for me?
I'm around 50kg and 5 ft 4. Tried they Mystic Magic for women but it wasn't fantastic, although might be that I have to accept the riding up and get better at tightening it in the water. Currently in Brazil where getting women's equipment is tricky at best.

Also any info on where to buy kite equipment around Perth? I arrive there in Nov for 3 months or so...

I thought all kite harnesses were designed for girls. Don't they come with a handle so they can double as a hand bag as well.

[Apologies NicoleH - just couldn't help myself]

I'm suggesting a second hand kite from last year and you can find it here in seabreeze "Buy & Sell" Section.
www.seabreeze.com.au/classifieds/default.aspx

If you have any other question it is better to ask it in "Kite surfing" section;

We really need some Latino girls in kite surfing department

Having never tried this, I really can't say whether I'd be any good at it, but we all would be interested in hearing your experience and just how long it took you to get good at it.

PS - I see these kite harnesses are getting more fashionable. Is it a one piece harness or are the fish net stockings optional.

You should, its a famous freestyle move in pole surfing.

I can tell that you are full of potential and don't lose your hope till you master this move.

I started pole surfing 4 years ago and as soon as I saw my instructor in this professional pole surfing harness and out fit practicing this move I panicked and I moved to a more manly sport (kite surfing)

You do know that we do not have poles in kite surfing?
Do you see the pole in this photo?
Do you see any similarities between your pole in your photo and "his" pole?
harnesses for vertical poles are different from harnesses for horizontal control bars.
