Watching this interview now - he admits to doping in all tours in first 2 mins. Wonder how he will get out of this now....here comes some jail time! No sympathy from me
Don't think there is jail time for drug use.
My question is if he is really sorry, will he donate the $120 Million (current worth) to charity because it was gained through deception and fraud? I doubt it. One thing to say you're sorry, another thing to show it.
Feel sorry for Cheryl Crow being married to this scumbag now.
I recall an interview which was done under the legal microscope when he was trying to get money on an insurance scheme.....it was stated that if he was to lie under oath he would go to jail.....now he has admitted it - I would think if he does not got to jail it will be because a deal had been done.
Good, more people should take drugs.
Drugs rock.
Drugs are natural.
Drugs allows your brain to augment your physical deficiencies.
Like a statue of limitations or similar? This is a soft interview - should have gone with 60mins....but hang on they did not want to pay $16 mio for the story ![]()
I reckon jail. He had an insurance policy that paid him a six figure sum for each win of the tour de france. The took him to court to try and get out of paying (there was a clause about being found performance enhancing drugs) but because he had not been found out, they had to pay. Not only will he have to pay back (it was a lot of money) but he repeatedly perjured himself in US court (It was clearly stated he was under oath and if he lied was perjury etc) So he is FUBAR.
It was the four corners special. good watch. someone even hinted that his nut cancer may have been contributed to by the massive amounts of male hormones etc he was dosing himself with. almost ounded like he was the best because he did the most drugs - he really did heaps and heaps according to show more than teammates etc. pioneer in the taking and use
I thought he was killing it because he only squashed 1 nut and was in half the discomfort of the other riders.
If he was getting away with it for so long how many others were doing the same and even riders before him like Greg Lemond ![]()
Baaaaaaaah who cares! It is just cycling a sport that has a strong drug taking philosophy, so what? he is a scumbag only because he has been caught............. you surely don't believe that all the other competitors are clean...... are you that naive!
He will give the money back? That is the joke of the year!
Just stop talking about the biggest no news of the year
And what a show all done on Ophra.......... how many mills is he getting for the interview???
Pathetic or maybe it is me been disillusioned?
Sport has nothing to do with been the best and winning medals and glory! Just another business where you make as much money in the short time you have at the top!
How bout he apologies to his massues who he said was lying, when she said she'd seen him doping, beacuse she was afraid the team would out here as whore..undre oath...the jurno's he intimidated and threaten...the team members and other athletes who he's ripped off by cheating and bull****ting...the more I hear about this guy the more I reckon he should be in jail only after apologising to all those people who's lives he has tried to ****
Cadel has been a great rider for years and struggled to take a win (TDF), but would have a couple more if it was not for other drug cheats. Cadel is clean as he has been affected by all the "Human" things that bring us all down in performance (fatigue and illness etc.)
The whole sport of long distance cycling is not natural. Once upon a time the Tour de France was normal when cyclists used to get a lift up the hill. Everyone did it so no one was disadvantaged. So what if he used drugs? The professional sports theory that taking drugs is cheating is a bit strange. Its wrong to take drugs but its okay to not have a real job and spend 12 hours a day training at the taxpayers expense. Training so hard and so long is just as unnatural as injecting some junk in your arm.
Sure cadel is clean , well as clean as the rest often . 100 percent of them are on something ,some get caught some don't
I dont get the whole performance enhancing arguement.
In AFL a lot of players cannt take the field by half way through the season without a buch of painkilling injections but thats not performance enhancing ???
