Does anyone know if it is possible to drive a hydraulic pump to power attachments like ones used on bobcats (post hole augers etc) from a Landcruiser ute's pto? I'm pretty sure you can run winches from them, but have no idea what sort of engine torque/power would be required to power something like an auger.

In a word, yes. (but some calcs needed to make sure everything is matched)

Fitted one way back when I worked for these guys... perreng.com.au/

A good job will not come too cheap though.
