Thumbs Up

Just a heads-up based on my experience. I bought an 'aerial splitter' with the intention of using my existing 27mhz aerial to provide reception for my new am/fm stereo. What a waste of money! With the splitter installed, I got poor reception on the stereo and lost almost all reception on my 27mhz!

Tried calling Fremantle sea rescue from the port entry and had no contact! I got home, disconnected the splitter, and I could lightly recieve Fremantle sea rescue in my driveway!

Stay away from antenea splitters! Mine was a pacific aerials one. Perhaps others are good. Perhaps I did something wrong (although I can't see how). If I save someone else 60 bucks, that will make me somewhat happy!
