Just sent to I tunes!

I have just noticed that I have been charged over $330 for a game called my little pony. I have never authorized any such payments and after some investigating I have found out that my daughter has been buying stupid gems etc with this stupid rip off game designed at getting kids hooked. Why on earth? Did they not ask for the 3 digit code on the back of my credit card??? I only ever purchased a .99c app many moons ago, and that gives you the right to keep my details and charge my credit card willy nelly. The reason my daughter knew my iTunes password was so she could download FREE apps!!! She was so hooked on getting stupid fancy ponies that she kept buying upgrades etc I'm sure you have every law and fine print covered and that I have no chance of recovering my loss. I am extremely upset and hope you will do the ethical thing and reimburse me for some stupid fake virtual gems that are worth more than real money. Shame shame! And while I M at it can you make apple install bloody flash!. Almost everything I want to watch on the net I can't on this apple thingy.

Your Daughter did the right thing helping Twilight Sparkle rebuild her home of Ponyville after it fell into the shadow of the villainous Nightmare Moon.

But this Hack would have been much cheaper!

Our youngest 2 are only allowed to play when we turn our devices on plane-mode. Our eldest (10) has an ipod, and knows the password to his mum's gmail account, but the rule is - if he wants to download something (mostly free), he has to ask us to punch the password in - first-time offence & he loses the ipod.

Never use a credit card to buy stuff in the itunes app store. At least then you are only exposed to the number of vouchers you have purchased. Apple very cleverly keep you credit card details so they can automaticlly charge you whatever they want, as you have now found out.

You can delete your credit card details from the store, but it is very difficult. We had to us a card once to purchase a book, and it took me quite some time to find where you delete your cc details.

And this is why we need an NBN. We wouldn't have to humiliate ourselves with sub-standard stuff.

Complain to game devs directly. Very strongly worded email. Threaten legal action, publicity campaign, , accc,TV, official complaint with iTunes, and poor rating. a long enough email or series of emails will Get your money back.

Now you know how I feel about the farking ATO stealing my money.
Apple doesn't even let you update your device unless they've got you by the curlies; That's the price you pay for being a schmuck (Apple sheep).

+7 Android devices... 1000's of downloads, never been asked for my credit card.
Registered an Apple rMBP > CC > tried to DL a free App > give me your CC.
Tried to DL Mountain Lion 10.8.3 > give me your CC.

So am an idiot but not for that reason

Most likely, there's a mandatory arbitration clause in your contract - you'll never get to court or any kind of satisfaction :(
