Definitely one of the great milestones in human history.
I watched it live on tv and can still feel the excitement whenever I see old tv footage of the event.

RIP Neil.

RIP

It took some courage to strap themselves to a huge explosive (Will E Coyote style) and throw themselves out into a vacuum in a tin can not knowing if they'd draw the short straw.

For the PM's of the world
Finally the conspiracy is complete, they've silenced him to hide the fact (it was on you tube) that they never landed on the moon.
Capricorn One was a documentary about the space programme.

From the family statement :

"[...] For those who may ask what they can do to honor Neil, we have a simple request. Honor his example of service, accomplishment and modesty, and the next time you walk outside on a clear night and see the moon smiling down at you, think of Neil Armstrong and give him a wink.”

It wasn't meant to be cock block for the rabid conspiracy tossers of the world start on about how the moon landings never happened.

My real opinion is one of huge respect as per my first paragraph

But you can't please everyone
