Just saw the pig in Norway just got sentenced to 21yrs ( the maximum penalty) for killing 70+ people, most of which were kids??? And his only apology in court was that he didn't kill more. What's wrong with this picture????
We've been having a chat about that here...

Better than Australia where nobody gets the maximum for anything, and concurrent sentences so if ya gonna kill one you may as well kill 70 ![]()
But yes, he should be in til the day he dies - no such thing as rehabilitating somebody like him.
Well we wouldn't want any knee jerk reactions would we?
These creatures should be tagged and then left in the wild to be studied so we can learn what makes them this way.
Oops,.. sorry. I though thtis was the GW shark thread. ![]()
I recon they should have taken away the Perspex in the court, armed the families with forks and butter knives and given them a few minutes of quiet time with the prick.
There is no "wtf" about it..their law does not allow for life imprisonment or death...
so for now..there is nothing they can do...
same as Simondo said..discussed in a different thread
The wtf is in relation to the fact there system has a maximum penalty of 21 yrs for the worst of the worst...... So I repeat WTF?!!!!!
Never thought Id defend Australia's sentencing for these gooses but a quick google reveals "Martin Bryant. 35 life sentences and never to be released and no option of parole" then Julian Knight (hoddle st) 27 years before elgible for parole. They changed the max sentencing after him so if he did it now he could be the same as Bryant
Id say we got that one right and our system reflects an appropriate punishment.

Give him the needle. Tax payers fork out enough let alone keeping him alive.
Oh thats right we have those people out there that are against the death sentence just incase he is innocent.
I was in Denmark when this news came out all over the tv. As Pugwash said; 21 years maximum term and he wont be released until they can prove he wont be a public threat (in practical terms, the public won't be seeing him again). He is also spending his sentence in social confinment, which I think seems to be a part of preventing him spread his racist ideas further. Good riddence!
