The latest in my series of videos challenging myself to develop my flight / shooting skills

Another under rated part of Perth - this reminds me of an Alien artefact from the Ringworld in the first Halo game.

a 2 axis gimbal was used to help smooth out my flying - wind was sw around 8-15 knots!

Looks exactly like Halo: Combat Evolved..

Would probably have spent at least a few hours trying to jump my Warthog off that thing,,

Reflex, How much does one of them set you back ?

Evil Panda, you are very close to home. Have you got any video footage of that flight you took photos from ?
How high do they go ?

To fly reliably with that amount of Smoothness you are in the ball park of around
$2000 plus.

The Phantom set ups at $700 odd minus cameras and gimbals arent quite at the level required for getting nice footage

But you can spend north of $8000 on a larger Octocopter - which would give you the ability to fly in more wind, with a dslr or m43 and smoother gimbal action (3 axis stabilisation)

Then you take your video and

Plug in to around 8 grands worth of computer / software technology with years of learning invested.

Also factor in a lot of learning to fly time (crashes and repairs) and build time (how your soldering technique?) and multiply that by your hourly rate.

Sure is fun though!
