I took the cameras down to the River on practice day to get some shots of the Pilots in action.

Cameras used were an HVX 202 for the slo and wide stuff
tights were shot on a Sony HC3 HDV camera with a doubler
And a nice steady tripod with a fluid action - Miller Solo DS20

I shot from both end of the course to get some variance in the angles.

great clip, missed the race

If there is one minor criticism from me-its that over editing can kill the fluidity. If its a promotional clip, a "taster", then that is serving its purpose.
But edited down into 2 or 3 second bursts in any action sport to me makes it hard on the eye and many windsurf vids are the worst offenders.
Would love to see a full run through the course....

awesome job but-and well outside my capabilities- so you may dismiss my comments!!

Yeah I must agree, I want to see all of a given trick, from setup to landing. For kiting, unless there is landing footage then it never happened...
