Hi everyone..

Im a young designer in Melbourne who is doing a project that requires old or unwanted sails of anykind!! If you live in an area close by and have any sails you dont want I would love to hear from you..

Failing that does anyone know where old sails can be found? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a million Kate

try the recycling centres closer to the coast, they often have a few piles.
the folks here on seabreeze are really great when it comes to helping. weve built many a landyacht with the recycled offcuts

You might try going into your nearest windsurfing shop and telling them your story. They may have a few old sails that are never going to be sold due to their age that they may let you have for nothing or next to nothing.

I've got an old 5.5m ezzy that you can have.

only caveat is that it's currently in a shipping container travelling over from Perth.

Available from sometime late next week.

Knew I packed it for a reason 8)

Just make sure they dig deep under the pile of kites that the old fellas tried and got bored with

People who say they are 'crinkly' are off their heads! a 6 pack of emu bitter would be the going rate for some of the junk that is listed me thinks..
