Just an unfortunate coincidence of MacDonalds and Rockingham or are the jokes true ?
Record fine for poor hygiene

The Rockingham branch of fast-food giant McDonald's has been fined almost $200,000 in eight months for food hygiene breaches.
The Read Street store was fined a record $180,000 plus costs in Rockingham Magistrate's Court last month after the restaurant was found guilty of eight charges under the Food Act for offences in January, February and May.
The Health Department said it was the biggest fine issued to businesses on its "name and shame" website of offenders.
The offences were related to food storage, cleanliness of the premises and the presence of "animals and pests".
In January, the restaurant was ordered to pay almost $20,000 in fines and costs for selling sub- standard food in July last year.
After the latest conviction, City of Rockingham mayor Barry Sammels said council officers had inspected the premises four times in response to customer complaints.
The worst thing about that is it is situated directly across the road from Rockingham High School.
Surely there should be a legal distance from schools that fast food outlets have to be - Kinda like Pedophiles.

Only in July???! Surely all McDonalds food is "sub-standard" every day of the week?!
Had the worse 2 burgers of my life at the Mandurah Maccas (18mths apart). I'd forgotten how awful the first one was until reminder by the 2nd. Still, they seem to do a roaring trade. So much so that I wasn't prepared to wait behind 20 or so people at the counter to complain and just bined it as it was inedible.
Interestingly the Falcon Maccas just down the road seems quite different. Haven't had a bad one there yet (limited experience tho'), in fact usually quite nice.
Interesting link, (public health) it seems like it is the same people getting busted.
If you trust 15-17 year olds to make your food, you get what you deserve really.
Obviously not enough of them watching master chef and putting this to practice.
Im buggered if I could tell a ****e macburger from a good macburger
What could possibly be a good macburger![]()
